This coin features a classic engraved image of Mickey Mouse preparing to take flight in his home-made airplane in Plane Crazy (1928). The artwork of Mickey Mouse is featured against an engraved background.

Issued by New Zealand Mint as legal tender of the South Pacific island nation of Niue, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2016 year-date and the monetary denomination.
